Jesus loves you. I know you’ve probably heard it a million times. You may be hearing it for the first time. He loves you! No matter what you have been through, no matter what you have done, YOU matter to HIM.
Salvation is a free gift for EVERYONE. God sent his Son, Jesus to die on a cross for our sins. Jesus willingly left his righteous throne in glorious Heaven to be born as a baby, die on a cross, and rise again on the third day so that we could live eternally with him in Heaven. Eternally. In. Heaven!
Jesus asks nothing from us but to give him our hearts. By simply confessing we are sinners and with the faith as small as a mustard seed we can ask him into our hearts and cleanse us with his blood he shed on the cross for us. It’s that easy and that simple. He created us with the free will to choose. Choosing Jesus Christ to live in your heart and be Lord of your life is the best decision you can make. And it’s free given to everyone!
I don’t even want to think about the alternative. Living eternally without him. Living in a place where there is no peace and chaos are never ending. Hell is real and Jesus came to save us all from Hell.
Here on Earth walking with Jesus offers so much more than what this world can offer. In a chaotic world, we can seek peace through reading his word, connecting with other Christians, and serving Him through a ministry or by using the gifts he gave us for his glory. By reading his word on a daily basis, he becomes out HOPE, our ANCHOR for our soul.
He died for you. He died to save you and spend eternity with him. All he asks is your heart.
Pray this simple prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, I am a sinner and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe you came as a baby only to die on the cross for my sins and rise again from the dead. I repent of my sins and ask you into my heart, cleanse me with your blood. I want to trust and follow you as my Lord and Savior. Amen
That’s it. That’s all it takes to be saved. To continue your walk with Jesus, get into his word daily, read a passage from the Bible or find a devotional book that speaks to you. Find a Bible based Christian church that will grow you and guide you. Get involved with your church by volunteering and serving in the ministry as you feel called. God will lead you; HE LOVES YOU!
