December 27, 2021 – John 8:12

Happy Monday! Hope these coloring pages have helped in memorizing scripture. As we embark on a new year my hope for this blog and these coloring pages is that not only will it help you to hide God’s word in your heart (Psalm 119:11) but it would bring a little curiosity to your memorizing. Is there a particular word that stands out to you in a verse? Research it. Look it up, read it in other versions, read a commentary on the verse. There are so many websites and resources to guide you deeper in God’s word. Jesus is the Light of this world and the Light of Life. He just wants you close to Him and reading scripture is just one way to do that.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

December 13, 2021 – Luke 1:46-47

Happy Memorize Monday!!! It’s almost 2022!! Where has time gone. Today’s scripture is taken from Luke 1:46-55, known as Mary’s Song, commonly know as the “Magnificat,” literally song of praise. It’s also similar to the psalm of Hannah when she gave birth to Samuel. Mary prices God for His faithfulness to keep HIs promises. Ponder the faithfulness of God today as Mary pondered and “treasured these things in her heart.” – Luke 2:19. Praise God for His faithfulness to keep His promises today and all through the year!

November 29, 2021 –

Happy Monday!! Advent has begun and as we all prepare for Christmas celebrations and festivities, my prayer is that we take time to ponder as Mary did, she treasured these things in her heart. “But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart.” – Luke 2:19.

Take time each day to think about what it may have been like to be greeted by an angel. What may have been going through Mary’s mind? Maybe take the time to read the accounts of the disciples in the Matthew and Luke, and treasure these things in your heart.

November 1, 2021 – Psalm 27:14

Memorize Monday – free coloring page – Psalm 27:14 – “Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.” I can be hard waiting. Sometimes God can feel like God is silent. So if you are waiting on God, and don’t know what to do, serve. You just may hear God speak to you in the middle of serving.

October 25, 2021 – Psalm 16:11

Memorize Monday – free coloring page – Psalm 16:11 “You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” KJV

Relax and meditate on God’s Word as you color this week’s coloring page. In His presence is the fullness of joy. Read that again. Although at times we may not feel God’s presence, we can know that we are for God says “I will never leave you or forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5. Multiple times in the Bible does God reassure us of His being near us.” God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble,” Psalm 46:1. While our circumstances around us may be troubling and trying we can KNOW that God is near and what joy that can bring us if we choose to trust Him.

October 11, 2021 – 1 Corinthians 16:13

Memorize Monday – free coloring page – 1 Corinthians 16:13 “Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.”

We need to be alert to what is happening around us, in our immediate surroundings, our neighborhoods, our communities, our churches and in the world. With so much going on we all need to be firm in what we believe in the Bible, standing firm in our faith in God all the while being strong and courageous. Text a friend, a family member, a neighbor and let them know you are praying for them. Encourage someone today be stand firm in God.

Added coloring page bonus today. If you want a different look and enough black ink in your printer or maybe your boss will be generous enough for you to print these coloring pages at work. Fall is a such a pretty time of year. Bright reds, yellows and oranges grace the trees creating breathtaking scenery. Today, there are two coloring pages, one with a black background.
