Love Language – Words of Affirmation Day 1

Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching and what better why to celebrate than speaking your spouse’s or your loved one’s love language. If you aren’t familiar with the 5 love languages, pick up a copy of Gary Chapman’s book The 5 Love Languages

The 5 Love Languages® is a valuable resource that can help individuals strengthen their connections and experience greater joy and harmony in their relationships. By understanding and expressing love in the language most meaningful to their loved ones, individuals can overcome feelings of disconnection and loneliness, fostering deeper and more fulfilling connections with the people they care about.

Speaking words of affirmation is a powerful way to build confidence and strengthen the bond in relationships. By expressing appreciation, encouragement, and compliments, individuals can uplift their loved ones, boost their self-esteem, and create a positive and supportive environment. This practice fosters a deeper sense of connection and fosters a strong foundation built on love and mutual respect.

This video focuses on words of affirmation and how you can wrap up words as a tangible gift.

I hope these videos provide inspiration for creating personalized gifts. Please leave your ideas in the comments I’d love to hear to hear them. And please like, subscribe and follow on social media. A heart felt thanks! : )

December 5, 2022 – Psalm 71:8

It’s hard to believe that it’s December and the Christmas Season is upon us! What a great time of year. A time where most of the world celebrates the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Praise God all day long, all week long, all month long for the greatest gifts the world has known.

November 28, 2022 – John 6:11

Jesus gave those who were seated as much as they wanted. We have a generous God. He gave us His Son, He gave His Son’s life for us and He gives us so much today that we I don’t think we are even aware.

Give thanks thanks to the Lord. What does giving thanks look like for you today? Singing? Praying? Praising? It doesn’t need to be much, a simple “thank you” to God for what He has done. But be sure to be intentional and specific about what it is for which you are thankful.

August 29, 2022 Pslam 146:5

Today’s coloring page and Psalm 146:5 made me think of the Israelites wondering in the wilderness. Their grumbling and complaining caused them to doubt and disobey God. And it’s really easy to do. How often do you find yourself complaining? It can appear that we are ungrateful for what God has provided. Like a child who doesn’t appreciate the amount of cookies the parent allows him or her to eat and can throw a tantrum because more was expected.

God always provides what we need. We just aren’t always expecting what He gives us, be it more or less, we always have an idea of the outcome we want whilst God has His own plan and purpose. We need to have open minds to what God has for us.

The remedy for this is to recall how God has provided in the past and be thankful for His provisions. Being joyful and thankful, recalling God’s goodness is hope to those who have the Lord their God as their helper

October 25, 2021 – Psalm 16:11

Memorize Monday – free coloring page – Psalm 16:11 “You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” KJV

Relax and meditate on God’s Word as you color this week’s coloring page. In His presence is the fullness of joy. Read that again. Although at times we may not feel God’s presence, we can know that we are for God says “I will never leave you or forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5. Multiple times in the Bible does God reassure us of His being near us.” God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble,” Psalm 46:1. While our circumstances around us may be troubling and trying we can KNOW that God is near and what joy that can bring us if we choose to trust Him.
